RE: [ihc] 800 door parts needed

Ok, the Lawson part number is 3617.  Here is what it says on the box:
Part#3617, Capscrew, Flat Head Socket, 5/16-24 X 1 SAE, Black Finish,
Qty 25

As I said, I struck out on the star washers but these have worked fine
for me without them.  They are a little longer than needed which is that
many more rusty threads to twist through if you ever want to take them
out.  I don't remember why I didn't get shorter ones, I think I couldn't
find them.  I do remember that I started my quest trying to get
stainless ones and struck out.  I worked at a packing plant at the time
and was sure the purchasing guys would be able to find SS ones, maybe
even have them laying around. No such luck.

Thanks, Ed.  That's exactly what I was looking for.  I did get the
original 
ones out, finally.  I had to drill out two, even after soaking, banging 
with an impact, and heating.  Does the plate behind your jamb float?
Mine 
does.  Mine also has some nice rust at the crease of the A pillar and
the 
fender. Where the hinges attack is still solid, so I am just going to
coat 
the rust and hope for the best.  I imagine the body shop bill for such a

spot would be tremendous.
