IIRC, a lot of the "kits" include provisions to lower bow the arms and the
track bar to make the positioning etc close to stock.

It's people not having a clue what they are doing. They think it was an
improvement for the newer vehicles and thus want to use it, not realizing
that it's only there becuase of the coils.
BTW, there are two types of ford coil fronts. You have the "twin I beam"
which also has a metho using a split dana 44 and then you have the solid
front axle. Don't know if it makes a difference there though...
