Nice post, Ed. I remember those days. Actually, my mechanic son took a day off of work yesterday to come up and help his Dad. Really nice to have him back home even for a day.

Among other things that he did for me he put a patch on the rubber roof of the travel trailer. He told me that he was rounding the corners of the patch before he put it on.

Looking for a compliment, I asked him how he had learned so much about mechanical things. He said, "My mother taught me."

His mom, for all her many assets, can't put a lid on a jar straight, so we all had a great laugh about his joke. Really tickled his mom.
