I've always just used the four equal ingredients, and not bothered with the
lanolin. It always seemed counter intuitive, considering what the stuff does
otherwise. Do you remember the old Palmolive commercial? With Madge saying
"you're soaking in it!" Ha ha... I try to keep my gloves on. ~John A.
