Yeah, that's how the original 4x4's are, I would suspect?...Mostly was
annoyed at lifting truck at all.

How painful will it be to mate the front steering from a 4wd GMC front
axle?

Yeah.  If I'd wanted such a project I wouldn't have spent as much on a
truck with 6 coats of clear...heh. (this seemed to be a big selling point
to the PO..)

Ah well, that's life and my luck.

Now, to figure out what GMC 3/4 ton 4x4's would have a reasonable final
drive ratio in them...gotta 4.30 in there if I read the lineset card
right, and that seems to be just about right.

Then to find one for sale cheap...borrow brother in laws van, and go get
it.

Hrm.

I dunno.
