Depends on which auto it is, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's about
as strong as you can get.  The one I'm thinking of actually has provisions
to let you push start it without damaging the transmission.

AFAIK regardless of whether it's that tranny or not, they are all good
transmissions.  Be advised that some of them still required that you
manually shift the gears and leaving it in 3rd to start could damage the
transmission.
