i've got a PDF copy of the front and rear axle listings from CT-402,
Revision No. 3, December, 1971, pages 6-3 for front and 6-5 for rear (sent
me by Allan W.).  the rear axle listing shows two "optional" rear axle
choices: RA184 (an Eaton 2-speed axle) and RA25 (the "bigger" IH axle), both
listed as having 1.75" axle shafts with 16 splines.  either of these could
be what you're looking for.  the listing shows nothing larger than 1.5" in
the front axles.

as Greg said, the 02064 would imply a front axle...  but that's a pretty big
axle.  definitely medium truck sized.
