[ihc] Trans Leak (Still thinking...)

For clarification,
My Transmission leaks while running (so far).  The trans doesn't leak when
parked (much more than any other I've seen).  I didn't know that the shift
shaft seal only leaks when parked and the Torque Convertor drains back into
the Trans.  -very interesting.

My truck this AM started puffing smoke from under the hood, at stoplights.

I'm planning to drain, drop the valve body, replace the small seals, new
filter, new gasket, tighten up and fill.

After dinner at Mom's, which means I start the job at about 10PM, so yay,
working on trucks again instead of sleeping.

then get up at 5 for work, lather rinse, repeat...
