[ihc] Matt's tranny lines

Yup, mud ;)

I'd suggest McMaster-Carr(www.mcmaster.com). Lots of choices.

You prolly know this, but be sure to use the 'real' tranny hose. Same as p/s
return hose. It would still be better to use steel for the run across the
engine bay, even if you bridge to the cooler with rubber.

I'm just bypassing the radiator cooler a vehicle at a time as opportunity
presents, and running a big aux cooler mounted in front of the radiator.
Michael M. makes an excellent recommendation to seal the cooler to the
radiator fins around the edge for increased air flow through the cooler.

Subject: [ihc] tranny fitting help

Digesters,

I know what I am looking for, but dont know what to call it, so I am
looking for help.

I need to run tranny cooler lines from my 727 to the radiator and
back. I want to use hose vs. bending tubing because I anticipate adding an
additional cooler later. I need to find a 45 degree female to hose barb
that bends 90 degrees. Is that clear as mud? Help is appreciated,
specifically vendors.
