About 1/8" thick, much beefier than the stock sheetmetal covers. A good 
alternative if mega-buck
parts are not your cup of tea.

Clean 'em, file the flanges flat, spray paint.  2 very solid covers for $20 
and some elbow grease.

The bronco cover has the fill hole about an inch higher than IHC.  If your 
lift springs &\or degree shims have tilted the diff nose higher this will 
be helpful.

Other than increasing the fluid capacity a bit, I have no idea what effect 
the higher level will have on  untilted (sp?) rigs.  Anyone who knows, 
please speak up.
