Made it to me... Haven't checked the Digest yet.

"NOW how much would you pay?!"
<SNIPPO!>
: "Ahhhhhh, I knew no one was being attacked". Picayune =
: petty. Don't think for a minute it is the distance between us
: that keeps this 5' 9-1/2" tall 170# source of font off youse
: guys. It is because you all hold a very dear place in my
: heart... As was said to me, by Dan N. IIRC, when I first
: signed on... "I love you man <hug>" Don't ask me why I was
: getting hugged, it was such a traumatic and tear-jerking
: moment that I lost all track of even who was hugging me.
Well, I won't speak for Dan, sometimes the B'laster fumes affect his
judgment (for better or worse!)! ;-)
The vocabulary is just a small thing I do in a effort to *TRY* to garner
praise from my hero, John Hofstetter. I want to be just like him when I grow
old, err, I mean "up"! ;-) I figure a fair vocabulary just MIGHT mask my
wretched grammar & punctuation among the Binder Illuminati - and I'll slip
in under radar and deceive John into accepting me! %^} You know, after J.L.
left us, I thought, you know, just maybe there might be an available
position as one of John's minions. I'd fill the void in John's heart. Alas,
to no avail. I'm afraid the Elder Sodium sees me for what I really am!
IHC content: We're about 3.5 hrs away from a predicted "Big Snow Storm".
Just in time for the prime time drive home. No replacement tow strap on hand
yet. It's SUPPOSED to start out as rain initially. Freeze. Then snow. Gee,
I hope I make it! %^} The Super Swamppers aren't much in the rain, but they
seem to behave ok in the snow from what I recall from last year.
Pete's Free Tech Tip-O-Dee-Day: When replacing your Scouts' hard top, try to
make sure the window gaskets line up with the windows... DOOOOHH! I knew I
'missed it' last time (well, I knew it the next day when I tried to roll up
the passenger side window and it was outside the gasket!)... "I'll deal with
that later..." he says! Ha! It's later than I think! I just didn't think
about how drafty it would make it in the Winter! <brrrrrrrrrhhrrr!> But
prob not as drafty as Tom M's 800 with the window 'permanently' down. Now,
about that Robertshaw 'stat... 190 sounds nice...
Sidebar: I was looking to see if there was a Robertshaw 'stat for 195
degrees or whether 190 was 'it'. A hasty Google search revealed this
reference, which includes a comparison / description from our own Steve
Stegmann: /ihc/archive/v6/msg12923.html -- so it
appears as if there IS a 195. Prob have to change it back in the Spring (the
weather gets HOT quick in the metro Tulsa area in the Spring/Summer)
Richard W.: If Google can crawl the archived Digests, I presume spammers can
and do harvest/scrape our e-mail addresses? Can Majordomo (albeit
optionally, perhaps?) semi-obfuscate the e-mail addresses like GNU's Mailman
can (e.g. "BINDER AT PFERRIS.COM"?)
Cheers,
--Pete
