i have to agree. there are some Jeeps that i do like. my dad has an '88
Cherokee Chief, and it's pretty nice. a buddy has a '80 Grand Wagoneer
Limited that i like a lot. i like the original Honcho series of trucks (i
forget the years, but they weren't around very long), and i dig the early
'70s J series fullsize trucks, most notably the J20. i don't much care for
the smaller CJ/YJ/whatever models, however. just too small for me. our
800A is almost too small for me.

about all i can say is "WOW". that's a cool acquisition. what i'd like to
know is how it got the 5 on 5.5 lug pattern. i haven't seen even ONE of
those things here on post with that pattern. if they're 5-lug, it's nearly
always five on eight (there's a five-lug that matches the big ten, but i
don't see many of those at all), though most now are either big Budd six,
eight lug to match the HMMWVs (these aren't real common either), or big Budd
ten to match the five tons. i believe the ones they keep around for the
Chevy ton-and-a-quarter trucks are six lug but they keep those trucks and
their trailers kind of far off the beaten path (too far to get a good look
at without binoculars) in a specific motorpool area, so i haven't gotten to
look real close at them.

anyway, neat trailer. an uncle of mine has one for his early '70s J20, both
are eight lug. i've kind of drooled over these trailers for years, but i
wouldn't know what to do with one if i had it, so i never seriously looked
into getting one. thanks for sharing, that's pretty cool. if you're gonna
share pictures of it, i'd certainly like to see.
