Re: [ihc] Eldon

---Sorry to hear about the rims. I couldn't imagine what they would cost to
have replaced, though I know that the parts are still available for these
iron beasts. It was told to me by several farmers that the trick with the
cal___ ____ in the tires is to actually keep the tires afloat when going
through muddy fields. This is usually caused by wildlife such as deer, oh
no, I hope I didn't offend anyone there, from what I have heard, it has been
a pretty good year for most of the Central farmers... but the season where
the fields get torn up is barely into motion. When their entire life is
devoted to getting the crops harvested, changing out a tire on 1 tractor is
less costly than being stuck in the field and having 2 other* implements
down, trying to pull you out.

---500+ lbs you say? WOW! Seeing as how I don't like GM at all, I will have
to say that the trailer held it pretty good for 900+ miles. Guess I have a
knack for loading/packing and balancing weight.

antifreeze mixed for as cold as you care about. Won't corrode the wheels
off the tractor.

than 400 lbs of extra weight. I est that each tire will hold about 9 cu ft
of fluid to the top of the rim. Say it weighs the same as water, that makes
the weight about 575 lbs/tire. Sorry 'bout that.
