Re: [ihc] Crank Scraper

---The 304 and 345 use the same oil pan and crank don't they. Is there a
difference in the crank as to its location in the crankcase? What I am
asking is, if this "crank scraper" works on the 345/392, would it not also
work on the 304?

---FWIW John, I believe a windage tray is just what the IH SV8 is needing to
help keep the unused oil in the pan for pick-up rather than no oil in the
pan, all needed oil up top and unused oil all over the inside of the block
walls. That FWIU is a little different from the item shown here, and this
item brings to me tone question regarding drain-down. Do I have to ask? It
looks like one more ridge for oil to sit on preventing it from returning to
the oil pan.

---We'll just have to see what happens with Michael Haynes' motor after
using this product I guess.
