Re: [ihc] 1 ton stuff, and Rockys trim

Yea i had memories of a lower gear ratio for the RA-15 but didnt know
exactley what ratio since it was not offered in a Light Line D-series. I
guess I try and remember only the info pertant to me making a living and
thats primarly IH Light line.

So what IH are the ones you have from?? They must not be what you are
looking for hun.
Now why would someone pay $1000 for a closed knuckle when a guy could take
a Dana 70 pumpkin and tube it and then put axle "C's" (yokes) on it and
hang Dana 60 stuff on them? IIRC the "c's" for the 70 are bigger but thats
it the disk brake open knuckle 70's used Dana 60 outers. There was a guy at
the Puyallup Swap meet who was getting 70 front disk brake axles from
forklift companies, and snowblower companies and selling them to the 4x4
crowd. I also know some Dodge 1974-1975 rigs "could" be optioned with the
70 disk brake front.

So where are you located anyway Greg?
