Yup, pretty much. Start soaking the bolts in PB now. Run the fuel
level as low as you can, and have ready a floor jack with a chunk of
2x6 running fore/aft under the tank.

I like the copper replacement idea for the separator, you could mount
it in the stock location with a couple Adel clamps.
