High steer?

Darrel,
So to make a High steer, I get a Chev right front outer from a D44,
and then put the entire braking and stuff back together, and then how do I
get a steering arm for the left side when all the chevs I've seen are right
side steer.

Then, I hope that the morse taper is the samef for the drag link to the
right side?

I'll do this if it works. Have you done this? How much is the Chev outer?
Naked and/or loaded?
I imagine that the NEW arm/outer is probably about $200.

Does anyone agree with me that it's not worth the risk to weld a pitman
arm?
Especially when an viable alternate (high steer) is available?
