If Robert brings his 1200D I can show you.  And if you bring the pieces and
a pattern, or dimensions,  I will cut and weld them for you.  Or if you have
the time, come over to my place and I can weld them.  These are all your
choices.

As to the strength issue, there is less potential problem at the tie rod end
of the pitman arm than at the pivot end.  But with the proper sequence,
inner pas temp, preheat, post heat, and moisture resistant E 7018 or better
rod, I think it will be fine.
