Waterproofing distributor

Third, distributor waterproofing, I remember reading a low
buck fix up once
upon a time that an old inner tube section could be made to
work like a
sock for the dist. simply get one sized to fit snugly and
cut a section
long enough to go up the wires aways, then tie the upper end
in a bundle
with the plug wires (I think for non routine immersion this
part could be
skipped) with some cable ties.

My boat a four winns with a ford 5.0 has a waterproof boot
over the distributor this would be a great way to waterproof
your distributor.  So check with a boat parts dealer to see
if this might help
