They're they go again!!

>They even look like IH used Dodge springs

I doubt either IH *or* Dodge made springs!! This is how all those rumors
about IH's being made from Big 3 parts get started. There are quite a few
major suppliers to the auto industry* and just because IH happened to pick
the same off-the-shelf design as somebody else doesn't mean that they were
building mongrels. Bosch supplies about everybody with injectors, does that
mean "Jaguar used Subaru parts" ??? But there seems to be some impression
that the Big 3 have raw iron ore coming in one side and vehicles out the
other, and they occasionally deigned to sell parts to little yipper dogs
like IH who bolted them together as best they could.

On re-reading that, it sounds "flamey." Didn't mean it that way Joel.. but
I'm too lazy to figure out how to re-phrase it.

In any case, IH was the company with the raw iron ore- and I think that
contributed muchly to it's demise, in fact.

*In fact, this is one of the big friction points with the Japanese.. it's
hard to build a car that fits the Japanese market anyway... but the problem
is that the engineers at Honda/Toyota et. al. won't really let Bendix bid
fairly on brake systems, etc.
