Tom: When the converter is all the way in, you have to pull it forward to make it touch the flexplate, after the tranny is bolted to the engine. If it hits the flexplate before the bellhousing meets the engine block, it isn't all the way in. Allan Weidenheimer 72 1210 Pickup
