Other gold box questions

Sense we are on the subject I just picked up a '77 Scout 345 with the gold 
box. My problem is the PO removed the insides from the dist. all I have is 
the housing;-( I have 2 internal mod. dist. other than unpluging the gold box 
(and removing it) and hooking up the new 2 wire dist. Is there anything else 
I need to do???
