A Scout is Saved

IH Yall,
Well I finally did it. I found a Scout that I could call my own. It's a
78', travel top, 345 (rebuilt and never started), auto trans in needed of
overhaul, Dana 20, PS, PB, and plenty of Scout rust. But for $500 I could
not turn it down. I hope to get started on the body first and leave the
transmission alone until I can decide whether or not to rebuilt it my self
or to pay and have it done. Dan have you got your transmission back together
and working ? If anyone else has any thoughts on doing it myself or to have
it done please let me know. Well its back outside I go that Scout rust never
sleeps and I'm still scraping the old floor mats off the inside.
  Later,
  Jim Hannon
78' Scout in need of TLC
