F*rd--the same nice people who have downgraded the atraight front axle in
their new F-250 HD and F-350 from a Dana 60F reverse rotation to a Dana 50F
reverse rotation???? They sure put out a mazimum of publicity about this
one!!!! Guess they don't think they can pass it off (as easily) as "more
durable than the previously used parts" like they do with their sintered
metal, fractured cap, non-rebuildable con rods!!

Then again--perhaps I should not be so nasty about it. I will have to
investigate whether one of these 50 rr's could be reconfigured to fit into
(and clear the oil pan on) a Traveller! (A 60 F, either regular or reverse
rotation won't fit! (The same one that is slated to get a narrowed full
floater 60 in the rear.) After all--there should be a fair supply of 50 rr
takeouts from guys who wanted a real truck from F*rd, but had to build it
themselves!

Greg
