I agree that it sounds like you did everything right as far and cleaning and
inspecting.  Are you certain that one of the floats isn't taking up fuel?
if they use brass.  Be sure all the float tabs are adjusted right, so they
don't go too high or to low.  The needles and floats need to move smoothly
inspect carefully.  I know you want it running right away but be very
methodical on your re-inspection.
