I might yet win that one, Peter... since there's now a racer and a
Travelall and some repair to my driver that are "in the pipeline" ahead
of the frame-up project..
> Soooo, IH All, what are your weekend Binder projects?
You asked...
Saturday - I get the *proper* sized U-bolts to finish installing the
front axle in my racer. Tear down the remaining F150 hub, clean the
rocks out of the bearings, repack, and isntall on the driver's side of
the racer. Finish fabbing the front bumper/tow-bar mount/hinge mount
for it. Then hook my towbar up and take it to the carwash.
What else will I get done? I *hope* to:
Park the racer near the garage in reach of the welder, to fix the
e-brake bracket and the trans mount brackets.
Pull the motor out of my friend's racer.
Put the 727 for my racer back together.
I also plan to test-fit the rollcage in the racer and make some
measurements for the lower door bars and seat mounts, then pull it back
out for welding and fitting of the steel tube I bought yesterday.
I would probably be WAY too ambitious to claim I want to get the 304 and
727 *installed* in the racer this weekend.. but y'never know..
-Tom
