Given the things people try to do on the highway, ESPECIALLY when trying
to tow trailers, I don't think I blame U-Haul for being overly
conservative in their policy.  Since most of the employees don't even
know what an IH is, how could they know that having one makes you a cut
above the average driver?

I've developed an attitude that I'd loan my Scout to someone before I
would loan my trailer as most people seem to take care of a borrowed
vehicle, but a with a trailer, anything goes.  If someone needs a
trailer, generally I'll offer to do the hauling myself.

I'd like to start a movement to eliminate the vision test for a drivers
license and require an intelligence test instead.    :-)
