Wait, it can work... move the springs in a BUNCH to the OTHER SIDE of
the Dana 44.  There, problem solved.  Of course, there'll be little to
no stability from the springs.

Maybe a coil spring front end would be a better design to allow the
tires to still turn and get the articulation you want..
