Re: Fw: Check this out

The aliens commander decided bearbvd@domain.elided (Greg Hermann) would make a
perfect specimen for dissection, and he yelled...

Amen brother!

I've always said to everyone that I hoped in my lifetime I'd see the
Supreme Court have a clean ruling on the meaning of the Second Amendment
once and for all. I'm prepared to live with the outcome either way. This
case might very well be the beginning toward that end, but I fully expect
the Federal government to do everything it can to *prevent* it from getting
to the Supreme Court if they think it won't go their way.

Obligatory but loosely IH related item: Quick question for those of you
familiar with CA gun laws... I'm leaving Saturday morning to ultimately
attend the 3rd Annual Western Regionals in Tulare, but first I'll be
camping in the desert with John H. and Bill T. We are planning some target
practice while there (not at each other). Is a plain Jane 10 round fixed
capacity magazine Russian SKS (a Curio and Relic) considered an assault
weapon in CA? I'd like to bring one along but don't want to break any of
your silly gun laws down there.

Thanks,

John L.
