Re: New Battery Cables Installed-No Start!



When I was going through these same problems with hard starting I got a
remote starter switch from Napa and ran the wires from the starter into
the cab of the scout. Then when it failed to start from the ignition
key I just leaned over and used the remote switch, no untaping wires,
no squeezing past the tire with a convienent piece of steel. Eventually
even this didn't work and replacing the starter solved the problem.
I've keept the switch connected for a future occurance and will be
connecting the wires to a tractor start button bounted in the dash.
