Maybe there is a difference between full size 2wd and 4wd vehicles and Scout 2wd and 4wd vehicles. The Scout trannys I have that are from 2wd and 4wd were from 1977 and 1975, respectively. Howard will probably be able to set it straight. I don't recall what vehicle the original question was referring to. Rik
