Have you guys seen differences or are you assuming 2wd are different then
4wd because of Dodges.

My tail shaft on the 2wd Scout is the same as a 4wd.  My scout was 2wd when
I got it,  all I had to do to make the 'tranny' 4wd was take off the rear
tranny output yoke  and replace it with a dana 20 drive gear, then bolt the
Dana 20 on.  A 2wd  tranny sitting side by side with a 4wd tranny the only
difference is the speedo output site.
