Tom,

They are more expensive, but not horribly so.  For example, locally Al's
auto sells the standard single wire Bosch O2 sensor for about $25.00.  The
same 3 wire heated sensor might be around $50.00 give or take.  A 4 wire
sensor is slightly higher, but not by much.
