Shackles flippin'

;) Must've been how, with only asphalt under my truck, the passenger
side spring (front) mount broke off shortly after the driver's side.. and
of course, the driver's side failed on the way OUT of the trail.. just on
the rough road, not on the rocks n' trees I was climbing earlier..

I found one that's worked pretty well so far, too... drop a V8 in! ;-)
I had my Scout buried deep in some snow last trip out.. I Hi-Lifted my
nose up and out so we could have an easier time winching... and watched
in horror as my shackles bent rearward a good ways as I sucked the front
tires out of the snow... but when I let it back down, all was well.
Humph. Well, that was cool!
