Chad,
   Check out the Holley web site, they have carb parts on there and will
have cams for your carb.
   Starters are not effected by water. The problem that will arise is
the connections. If the battery cable and ignition wire connections get
dirty from mud then that will make the starter not work right. Plain old
water isn't a problem.
