Carb Rebuild

I appreciate everyone's encouragement.  I pick up a rebuild kit in the
morning ($26 and change from Carquest).  I'll let you know what happens.

Can anyone recommend a source for an accelerator pump cam?  I've struck
out at Carquest and NAPA, just got blank stares at Pep Boys and Advance
Auto.

On another note, during all the discussion about waterproffing various
drivetrain components,  I've not seen anything mentioned about the
starter.  It seems it would be among the first components to get
submerged.  Is this a concern?
