Re: U-bolt Skid plates



$250 is a bit stiff. What I was thinking of was a block of steel with 
beveled edges and recessed bolt holes.  Take a block of steel the size 
of the current plate, but approx. 2" thicker, bevel the leading & 
trailing edges, and countersinking 4 holes 1/2 way down (or up).  Sounds 
like a project for Fleck or one of the other fabricators on the list.
