Re: Pitman Pulling Problems



Eric,
   If you are trying to remove the Pitman arm from the steering box you
will have to do a variety of things. First soak it with PB B'Laster and
let it sit. Then put the puller on it for quite some time, tight. Take a
torch and heat the arm nice and hot. While the puller is on ther and it
is nice and hot, hit the arm with a BFH right on the arm, as close as
you can get to the steering shaft. A couple of shots will break it free.
