Rough running 304

Mike,
I had a similar issue with my 304. The carb seemed to be dumping WAY too much fuel. It had a 2300 on it originally, but I first tried a 2210 on it. Dumped fuel. I rebuilt my 2300, same thing. After many attempts to figure out what the trouble was (why won't the needle vale seat, if that's the problem....) I gave up and bought a new carb. Mine is an extreme case.
You should be able to carefully rebuild your carb, do some minor tune up stuff, (point, cap, rotor, plugs, maybe wires, vaccuum lines) and be back in business.
BTW, I finally got my 304 running perfectly last night after almost 2 monthes of tinkering!
