Re: Matt's 800 lift

Hi Nick,
What I did was have Al Can Spring make me a set of custom 4" lift springs.
I took it down to Al Can this morning, he measured the frame and said that
the lift was pretty much the same both front and rear, only being off by a
1/4 of an inch. It's just that my front needs to settle some more. It
already has a little. They said they tend to put a little more arc on the
spring on the fronts due to the weight of the truck. The problem is the
body. I haven't got any rubber left for body mounts. And, one rear mount
bracket is completely broken off. So the body isn't level. Oh well, another
project!
Matt
