IHC Engine Durability

Well, I got back from the place where I got my heads rebuilt. He says that
"A" caused the problem. I say no here's why.... He says well then "B". I
say no here's why..... I think he finally settled on the reason that my
head cracked is due to my block.....This guy said (and I should take his
word for it because he is "expert") that International is famous for there
blocks warping easily....I have never heard of this. Basically was he is
saying is that my block is warped (I checked this before I put the heads on
at a friends shop--it wasn't at the time). And this caused the head to
crack. How many others are running with warped blocks?? The "crack" is
between the spark plug hole and the intake valve. I think it had to be in
there when I got it, and the heating and cooling flexed it enough to
surface........I'd think the heavier duty / more metal block would be less
prone to warping, but like I said he's the expert - ha. Any Ideas,
Comments, help.......
Chris
