auto-to-manual

hey guys,

anyone ever do  an auto-to stick conversion?  I found a 196 i'm gonna
pull haed off and check for cracks, and condition (couldn't get
compression, but am hoping it can be re-ringed)  and it's connected up to
an IH 3-spd manual, yeah I know, not great gearing in those, but I was
thinking, would it be worth my time to put it in at the same time?
