Positive Selenoid Post

Sorry!  I keep remembering things that I meant to ask in my last post!
Anyway, Should the positive post on a brand new selenoid be losse enough
to shake around?  My old one was like this when it came off, so I
thought that may have been part of the problem.  But then, upon
installing the new one, I noticed that it was loose too.  Is this
normal, or is this a faulty selenoid?  Thanks!
