Epp,

I've been thinking about this for quite a while. I have a 40 gal tank in
the parts truck that I want in the Scout. Only problem is it sits so
low. I already drag my receiver hitch all the time. I don't want a 40
gallon skid plate.

I've been thinking of cutting the floor out and welding in a raised area
so that the tank would sit higher. That way, I could use the stock skid
plate also. I need to go and measure to see if there will be any
problems with interference etc.

I'm very interested in any pics you take. Might give me a better idea of
the fit problems. What is your web page url again?
