Body Lift

Okay, now another question:

If I put a body lift on my new '70 Scout 800, are there options as far
as what company I get the parts from?  Does it make a difference?  I
thought I'd heard discussion of different materials used now.  Is that
so?  Like Poly(eurathane, or something) vs. something else, like what
was originally used?
Any experts on this with some help for me?
