Thanks for the info.  I probably won't consider doing that swap anymore.
I didn't know that the gearbox would have to go oin the outside of the
frame, so that pretty much nixes that idea.  I didn't realize that the 4
cyls where tilted so they would fit under the hood.  Thanks again.

So, does anyone in IN, or IL (basically within a 4-5 hours radius around
Purdue) have a 196 out of a Scout 800 (needed to originally be tilted)
that they will want to sell this summer??  What about a 4 speed close
ratio tranny?
