Oh, did you weld up your front diff or something?  I don't think locking
the hubs locks your axles together.  If they were locked together, you
would already have found out that it won't steer worth a darn the first
time you came to a curve ran straight off the outside.

Just having the hubs locked and the axles turning shouldn't make any
noticable difference in handling, although you may find it more difficult
to get moving if the temperature gets down to zero degrees and lower.
