I'm pretty sure that the sensor is the problem and have known it for a
while. Someone (probably you Tom) told me about this when I first had the
problem and I decided not to try and return the sensor to center as I enjoy
the conversation it creates. When I fix the other 100 or so things wrong
with the Scout I'll get around to correcting it. For now the brakes are
working fine and as long as I know I can stop I'll live with it. I think
I'll disconnect the wire just to see what happens and hope the connector
doesn't fall apart in my hand due to corrosion.
