Not picking on you, Jeff, but...

Why is this a recurring comment?  "If I didn't have ABS, I would've been
in an accident".. I have yet to hear a "If I would have had ABS, I
wouldn't have been in an accent" statement yet.

KNOW YOUR VEHICLE.  Know it's limits and capabilities.  Jeff even says -
I drive with extra room between me and the rest of the crazies...

Does this mean ABS makes better tailgaters?  I always wondered why I was
the only person that still has a "buffer zone" between me and the other
rigs on the road when I'm on vacation in Seattle, Denver, Portland, or
the 'Springs..  must be because I drive a Scout II without ABS...
