I "inherited" an overly large labrador. He was over 100 lbs. When I built
him a wooden dog house, I measured the space by crawling in there along
with him. When I got it to the point where he and I could both lay down and
sleep in there, I knew I had what I wanted.

As I painted the outside, my then wife put George Thoroughgood on the
stereo: "Move it on over. Move over little dog 'cus the big dog 's moving
in!"
